The Characters
At the start of the game every player chooses one character. The most important difference between them are their stats - might, speed, sanity and knowledge. And also the rate it drops or grows. For example someone may have 5 might, something makes him lose one and he still will have 5(if this explanation still confuses you, take a look at the picture).
The characters can be seperated in two categories - physically strong and mentally strong, both with their strengths and weaknesess.

Game flow
In the beginning the only tiles fliped are the main corridor at the firts floor, including the stairs to the second floor and the second floor tile with the stairs going down. All players put their chosen characters at the entrance of the house. After which every player in turn choose in what direction to go. There is no limitation where the player can go as long as there is open door.
Everytime any player enter new room, new tile is randomly drawn and this is the room. The only restriction for the tiles is they have to be for the floor on which the player have revealed a room.
On every tile there can be symbol for Event, Item,Omen or if you're (un)lucky the room will be empty.
If the room is not empty, the player draws a card from the coresponding pile of cards and follows the instructions written on it. Or/and keep it if its item.
Important is that if Omen is drawn, the player who drew it should roll six dices and if the sum of those dices is less then the number of all drawn so far Omens, then the Haunt occurs.
What Haunt will be played is decided by the combination of the last drawn Omen and the room in which it is drawn. This information is found in the Rulebook. After this is cleared the Traitor takes his Traitor Tome and leaves the room, so he can plan his further actions, at that time the other players open the Secret of Survival and plan how to stop their trecherous friend.
After that both sides are trying to win.
The game offers 50 different Haunts among which are invasion of demons, werewolf atacks, Dorian Grey and many, many more.
Personal opinion on the game
(which if you are not interested in you can skip and go directly to the links at the end)
The game is amazing! I enjoyed it a lot! The fact that the house is always different, you don't know in what room you will enter, when the Haunt will hit, is great and gives amazing replayability to the game. Also every player is free to go whereever he likes, there is no rule that the team should stick together, not to mention that this can be disadvantageous. The only negative I saw is that some Haunts are imbalanced either for the Traitor or for the Survivours. But those are just a few of all 50 so this is really minor issue.
In conclusion, if you like cooperative games, this is a must try for you!
